I met my 5% “Heart Smart” weight loss goal yesterday. By losing 5% of your body weight, you reduce your heart disease risk, as well as your risk for certain cancers.

I cheated very badly last night. Had THREE snacks yesterday instead of one; had two salad dressings instead of one. I think the reason for my binge is that I’ve been out of fruit for three days, and I’m really missing it! To the grocery store today. :)

Weight loss so far:

Week 1: 5
Week 2: 1.8
Week 3: 3.7
Week 4: 1.4 pounds and total of 5.5 inches lost

Total so far: 11.9 pounds since 4/28/07.
