GASP!  Are you shitting me, Victoria’s Secret?

Did you indeed dare to make the bold statement in the subject line of the email you sent me, that pants are going to be all the rage this fall?

Wild and wacky stuff!  Who would have forseen that people wear pants in the fall?  These are crazy times.

Now that I work at home as an Instructional Designer, I’m starting to get some routines down. For example, I find that I still proofread best by working off a hard copy. Plus, it gets me away from the computer, giving my mousing wrist and my neck a needed break. So I like to sit on the couch, use my lap desk my sis-in-law made me (the blue thing with all the pics decoupaged to the top), and proof in comfort. But Moose, my executive assistant, bogarted my editing spot.

Dude, you’re interfering with my workflow!

I can see teens and early 20’s people being so immature and selfish that they’ll lie to another person about caring about them, just to get a booty call.

But when you’re about middle aged (or beyond) and you’re still using lies, false promises and manipulation in order to get laid, that is JUST PATHETIC.

What kind of soulless, morally bankrupt, self-serving piece of shit are you?

On what planet is it OK for you to lie and offer to share your life with someone when you have absolutely no intention of doing so - all you want is some sex?

And how DARE you have the nerve to expect sympathy from others when you get YOUR heart broken, when you don’t give a rats ass who YOU hurt?

Going out of your way to build false hope in someone, just so you can get your rocks off… it doesn’t get scummier than that.

I’ve had headaches my whole life, since the age of six.

I call them migraines because there’s severe pain, light sensitivity, and sometimes crippling nausea. But I don’t think they’re migraines. I think there’s something wrong with either my neck or my sinuses, causing either severe tension headaches or God knows what kind of headaches.

Friday night I took a leftover vicodin (with food) and went to bed. Well, it didn’t help. Saturday I was supposed to work all day to meet a project deadline. But I couldn’t sit up long enough to work. Every time I sat up for more than 2 minutes I thought I was going to vomit and would have to lie down where I was, even if it meant lying on the floor. I knew better to risk another vicodin due to the nausea, but I wanted some food on my stomach so I could try a Tylenol #3 or some ibuprofen, so I tried to eat so I could take the pills without making my nausea worse. But I had to stay lying down, and it’s very difficult to eat while lying flat.

I tried to make it to a hot shower to try and relax the muscles in my neck, and after about 3 hours I finally felt better enough to try the shower. It helped. Then I spent some time laying with a heating pad under my neck.

By afternoon the pain had gone to a “normal” headache, instead of “oh my God will someone please decapitate me!”

Problem is that my pain pill stash is now depleted except for a couple Vicodin, and I know if I find a doctor and ask them for Tyl #3 or muscle relaxants, they’ll label me a drug seeker. Because you see, you’re not allowed to have pain in America!

It’s sad when someone with severe, legitimate pain who only needs an occasional pain pill and muscle relaxant (maybe one or two a month) knows she can’t ask her doctor for a prescription.

And today the headache is starting to get bad again, and I still have a deadline to meet. Oy vey.

I usually don’t get political, mainly because when I see stupid things our government does, I become apoplectic and run to bury my head in the sand. So indulge me this one time that I am able to speak.

Of course with this election I was always going to vote Democrat like I always have. However, I was a Hillary supporter and felt lukewarm about Obama. But after hearing Biden and Obama’s speeches, I’m in love and COMPLETELY won over by them.

IT IS SO NICE TO HEAR SPEECHES LIKE THAT, AFTER EIGHT FUCKING YEARS OF LIES, PROPAGANDA, AND VAGUENESS!!!

It amazes me that the American people would even entertain the thought of voting the Republicans in power for another four years. I’m not saying those people are wrong or stupid, I’m saying I can’t even wrap my mind around it. To me, the concept of an average American supporting the Republican party is the same as me coming home, finding people robbing me of all my stuff, and instead of calling the police and kicking them out of my house, I help them pack up the truck with my stuff!

How can the average citizen support a powerful political party whose only agenda is helping about 1-2% of the country become as rich and powerful as possible, and to hell with the other 98% of us. Who are bound and determined to carry on with irresponsible energy and environmental practices, without caring that it will ruin (if not kill) their grandchildren.

How did this happen back in 2004? How does the Republican party stay in business?

My family are all big-time Republicans and I used to see how they supported the party, I can’t understand the HUGE ASS BLINDERS they have on about what the Bush administration has done to our country. My whole life my republican relatives were part of a political party, it was all good. The ones who haven’t abandoned that party, I now don’t see them as having X political views. I see them as being in a cult. Because how else can they not see they are backing an insanely corrupt and self-serving regime?

It will take at least eight years to undo the damage Bush did. He truly set up the next president for failure, be that next president McCain or Obama. If we have another four years of a Bush-like administration, we are in for some horrible times.

For the average everyday republicans, I respect your beliefs and do think you should be able to support whatever party you want. But your party is not working for you any more. They are working for their own self-interest, intent on plundering our country and its citizens, stepping on the corpses of the lives of the citizens as they run off to their yachts. Their corruption and greed is out of control, so please fight for change within your own party. What used to be views A and B has now changed to a fight between good (or at least OK) and evil - unbelievable in this information age that a political party could get away with bad behavior so long that they were allowed to reach their depths of evilness.

I think this election is an emergency. Without change, our country is going to code.
